Hifsa Khan is a Social Worker and a Counsellor. Hifsa completed her Bachelor of Social Work and her Master of Social Work at Ryerson University in Toronto, Ontario. Hifsa has experience working with diverse populations and has previously provided individual and group counselling to women, students, and young adults. Her areas of focus are anxiety, stress-management, self-esteem, relationship management and communication, as well as a keen interest in issues pertaining to women. Hifsa uses an anti-oppressive, non-judgmental, and inclusive practice approach that is client-centered and strengths-based. She prioritizes her clients using solution-focused therapy and motivational interviewing that draw on the existing strengths of the client to promote goal setting. Hifsa creates a warm, safe, and comfortable environment for her clients, in which they can speak candidly and confidently about their needs, and the concerns, or issues impacting their lives.
