Salaam/ Hello there!

I am a counsellor, NLP Practitioner and Hypnotherapist who assists women who have experienced narcissistic abuse and/or neglect from close family members.  Narcissistic abuse in the family is the kind of abuse that is not often talked about in our Muslim communities, because of the cultural and religious sensitivities involved.  Often narcissistic abuse is so well hidden and not talked about, that women who wish to seek help, cannot.  So they continue to suffer in silence- whether it is because of fear of judgement in the community, or fear of displeasing God.  However, it is so important to seek help as the trauma from the abuse can affect day-to-day functioning, as well as other relationships which one has, including the most important relationship- the one we have with Allah.

In my Practice, I use a combination of methodologies such as NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming, Time Line Therapy®, and Hypnotherapy, all while respecting Islamic faith traditions.

I understand that each client's journey of healing is unique.  With the modalities used in my Therapy Practice, we release the negative emotions that have been holding the client back from living a fulfilled and content life.  I help to let them go of their anxieties, fears, and uncertainties, and design strategies that will support them to thrive.  We can work on setting goals, and feeling empowered in their decision-making.  In my work, I always keep at the forefront, the knowledge that Allah is Al-Shafi, and He can heal all wounds.  

The therapeutic techniques which I use, are designed to be quick, effective and long-lasting, so iA clients will be able to see results in as little as one session.  With faith and action, iA great progress will be made.
