I’m Maryam, a clinical social worker with a professional background in both social work and psychology. I earned my MSW from the University of Michigan and honed my clinical skills at the University of Michigan Children’s Hospital as a psychotherapist, providing trauma-informed care to children and their families. My academic journey includes a dual bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Public Health – Family Science from the University of Maryland.
My therapeutic values are rooted in a God-centric lens, creating a safe and non-judgmental space for healing. I believe in a holistic approach to healing, recognizing the profound interrelation between the mind, body, and environment. I aim to empower individuals, nurturing strength to build healthier relationships within themselves, their families, and contribute to more resilient communities.
I’m originally from Maryland, and I currently reside with my husband in Michigan. In my leisure time, I find joy in reading, connecting with nature, and cherishing moments with family and friends.
