Before pursuing a career in counselling, Huma completed a Bachelor's degree in Psychology. Throughout her professional journey, she has been involved with several non-profit and private organizations across Greater Vancouver. She has worked with clients of all ages, including children, youth, and adults. She has developed a deeper understanding of mental health issues through her experience interacting with individuals from various backgrounds, cultures, and ages. She has also gained insight into various factors that impact mental health, such as family dynamics, cultural expectations, and other life challenges.
